| With the significantly increasing market competition characterized by globalization, dynamicdevelopment and customer-driven, the complexity and dynamic development of manufacturingsystem is also becoming to expand. How to deal with the kinds of dynamic changes and uncertainfactors in manufacturing system has become to the important factor with improving thecompetitiveness of enterprises. In order to provide an effective and quality approach for dealing withthe job shop scheduling problem, a new search algorithm called Artificial Potential Field has beenpresented. The main contents of text are as follows:Firstly, this paper analyzes the basic problem of the job shop scheduling and the research status,at the same time, elaborates the advantages and disadvantages of the Genetic Algorithm, SimulaedAnnealng Algorithm, Tabu Search Alogrithm and other classic algorithm in job shop scheduling.Along with the development of manufacturing system new job shop scheduling algorithm must becombined with the production practice.Secondly, this paper elaborates the Artificial Potential Field theory, and a mathematical modelhas been proposed based on Artificial Potential Field combined with the basic characterstics of the jobshop scheduling problem. And the gravitational field of Artificial Potential Field has been introducedemphatically in manufacturing system. The result is better than some other scheduling algorithm, andreflects the superiority of this algorithm. And at the same time, dynamic scheduling strategy has alsobeen provided to deal with the random events such as task increased and quipment failure.Then, a software platform based on Artificial Potential Field has been developed by usingMicrosoft Visial C#. This platform realizes such functions as the management of machines andproduction task, the static job shop scheduling, dynamic scheduling aiming at new tasks and machinefailure based on Artificial Potential Field.Finally, for purpose of the physical simulation of the job shop scheduling and further research onthe realization mode of the Aritifical Potentia Field manufacturing cell, a hardware simulationplatform of the Aritifical Potentia Field manufacturing cell is built by systematic testing. |
