Aero-engine health management can not only improve engine safety and reliability, but alsoreduce maintenance costs and time. Currently, the aero-engine gas-path performance monitoring andparameter estimation techniques are the important means of engine health management. Rapidprototyping technology developed in recent years has provided a solution to improve the systemdevelopment efficiency and verification feasibility. An aero-engine health management system isresearched using rapid prototyping technology in this thesis. The simulation and verification platform of engine health management system is proposed basedon analysis of requirement of the aero-engine health management system of domestic and foreigndevelopments. An aero-engine component-level model is integrated into the rapid ptotypingdevelopment environment and the components failures and sensors failures are simulated.Online state-variable model is bulit and performance parameters are estimated by Kalman filter.Based on non-linear engine model, a const gain extended Kalman filter algorithm is designed. Enginehealth degradation parameters are estimated and the algorithm execution time is decreased. Finally, the communication data exchange and storage technology on the rapid prototypingplatform is researched. An on-line health management system in graphical development environment isdeveloped. The condition monitoring function, gas path components fault diagnosis function andperformance parameters estimation functions are designed in the sysytem. The rapid prototyping ofcode generation is studied, and the graphical program experiment of code generation andtransplantation is carried out.
