China has a vast territory, the various regions of the climate and environment, resource distribution, human ecology are very different, and these for the green building development and continue to have an important role in.And with China’s western development, the western provinces of the economy have a great advance, the construction of the new building, but because of toharsh climate, the existing building energy efficiency measures in place, the energy waste is also very serious. To the north of Xinjiang region as an example, in the climate zone belongs to the cold climate, most of the area of the heating period of up to160days, compared with other cold region, and summer is very hot, in this areas the building design is great distress, many commonly used energy-saving design strategy can not be applied in this region, so the this region of the building energy saving design strategy is more important.Article to analyze the climatic characteristics of the typical city of north Xinjiang, Urumqi, and proceed from human comfort, use eco-climatic map to analy the local building evaluation of the northern region of Xinjiang special climate conditions on the design and construction of indoor thermal environment’s influence, and make appropriate measures. Article focus on the use of solar, building regenerative cooling, natural ventilation and so on.Then use the PHONICES (CFDcomputational fluid dynamics simulation software) made a detailed simulation onthe architectural layout of the wind environment in north Xinjiang, draw the layout mode ofthe north Xinjiang construction groups, and analysis of Xinjiang northern Xinjiang regional planning energy-saving design strategies. The last article of traditional houses andmodern architecture, and use an instance of the derived energy-saving design strategy was validated.The article first systematic research building climate design on the north Xinjiang.Proposed energy-saving design strategies to adapt to the climate characteristics ofnorth Xinjiang and appropriate guiding principles.Play an active role in the theoretical research and practical development of building energy efficiency design in north Xinjiang, guidance for local new green building and energy-saving projects.
