| Asphalt concrete pavement has advantage of driving comfort, short constructionperiod, and short open time, it is widely used in high grade highwaypavement, but with the economic development, trafficvolume increases and overload violation travel and other reasons, resulting in asphaltconcrete pavement rutting and fatigue cracking, some sections due to the lack ofeffective lighting facilities,which makes traveling at night with a great securityrisk,impacting on road traffic safety and the life of the road seriously.In this study, laboratory experiments are carried to do research onvisibility andrutting depth prediction model of asphalt mixture.Rural roads, especially most in themountain area of low level are far from cities and towns, there’s no lighting facilities,poor road linear conditions are poor, so there is a big rural road safety problems,particularly steep mountain road of low-grade curved emergency, roads are narrow,there is greater difficulty driving at night.Therefore,this article in view ofpoor lighting conditions for the rural road,proposed the topic research on asphaltmixture with high visibility,adding glass cullet to asphalt mixture to enhance itsvisibility in use of the reflective properties of glass cullet,especially at night or in poorlighting conditions.The experiment proved, not only the high temperature stability,low temperature cracking resistance,water stability of the glasphalt mixture can meetthe specifications,it also has good reflective effect,enhancing the visibility of theglasphalt mixture greatly. Established the form of rutting prediction model basedon analysis of the rutting impact factors, determine the model parameters based ontest results,and test the validation of combination of structural,the results show thatthe margin of error is small,the prediction model can be used to predict the asphaltconcrete rutting depth. |
