As a new kind of composite bridge, PC composite box-girder bridge with corrugatedsteel webs appeared in early 1980s.It has a great deal of advantages such as lightself-weight,high effective prestressing system, short construction period, beautifulshape, etc. As a unique bridge structure, each part of the box-girder has specific mechanicalbehavior. It has gained extensive research and application in France and Japan. Now it isgetting more rapid development prospects and great application in tapered section oflarge-span bridges with more complicated structure,in China. This article sums up the comparison on the basis of the previous studies, Furthersummarizes the corrugated steel webs H the concrete box girder in force andcharacteristics, Analysis of the characteristics of corrugated steel webs, flexural and shearforce,Verify that the corrugated steel web box girder overall force can be neglected itscommitment to the role of bending; And details of the three failure modes of thecorrugated steel web shear buckling, calculation methods and other relevantfactors.Consider the following research objectives were formulated: a finite elementanalysis software ANSYS, the establishment of the computational model with actualsimilar boundary conditions of corrugated steel webs, the shear buckling analysis ofcorrugated steel webs, and by changing the size parameters of the method to calculateresults of different models to discuss the impact of the size parameter on the web shearbuckling performance;Explore the dynamic performance of the corrugated steel webs, thenatural frequencies of the different size parameters of the web trends. Modal results bycomparison with corrugated steel webs and concrete webs, to discuss the superiority of thecorrugated steel webs. This article can be used as reference for further research and engineering practice.
