In recent years, the box girder crack has gained much attention among bridge builders.Corrugated steel webs PC composite box-girder bridge, which can solve the problem of boxgirder crack fundamentally, has been applied. Many scholars have carried out theoreticalanalysis and applied research on it. This paper, in the method of finite element, will analyzeand discuss the mechanical properties, the whole process of loading and its failurecharacteristics of Corrugated steel webs PC composite box-girder bridge, as well as the shearbuckling properties of the corrugated steel.The author will systematically demonstrates the mechanical properties of corrugatedsteel webs PC composite box girder. It will also develops the function of transfer betweenMidas Civil and Midas FEA and offers a detailed introduction of the establishment andoptimization procedure of the space finite element model based on the complicated features ofthis construction. The mechanical properties of corrugated steel web PC composite box girder,such as its resistance to bending, shearing and torsion will be further confirmed, depending onthe Finite Element Method.Aiming at the particularity of the corrugated steel webs in the shear aspects, and with theconsideration of the initial geometric defects and the nonlinearity of materials and geometric,the author will carried out the parametric analysis of the shear buckling performance of thecorrugated steel plate by using the finite element analysis. The impacts of the thichness ofcorrugated plate,inclined plate angle, wave height and the change of straight section width tothe shear buckling of corrugated plate will be clarified.According to the calculation and analysis of corrugated steel webs PC box girder bridgestress in the whole process and the combination of the flexural properties of such kind of boxgirders with the existing research result, the practical calculation method of flexural bearingcapacity of bridge will be presented and a reference to related engineering designs andapplications may also be provided.
