The thesis is some solid socket motor Thrust Vector Control system -ball and socket nozzle, it will be applied to the system of Thrust Vector Control—TVC, which is light-weight, light-moment and high-load in theⅡ-level solid rocket motor of conventional tactics missile. Its function is provides controllable axial and the crabbing thrust force for some solid socket motor through the fuel gas, to guaranteed the flight vehicle stability、essential evasion or trajectory flight according to the prescribed. It is mechanical power installment of solid socket motor, important component of missile airframe, and final link to controls the flight vehicle, also relates the flight success or failure.The entire axis oscillating motion of some solid propellant engine TVC system - ball socket nozzle was implemented through the joint, the joint was made of positive ball and negative ball with great size sphere (Φ≥300 mm) . The joint is not only connecting part of moveable body and fixed body but also load strut member in the TVC system. When given large loads in work, the joint state of force was complex. The kind of problem of the distributing of contact force, the displacement of swing center and the forecast of driving torque controlled the dynamic performance of joint and the kind of problem of the contact stress and deformation controlled the contact load capacity of the joint, these problems are the key to decided the performance of system function .The concrete study methods and results is the key to the unsettled problems on this model TVC system, also the main targets of this thesis.First, build the complete appliance model of ball and socket nozzle based on Pro/E, it provide geometric model for dynamic of the rigid-flexible coupling.Secondly, build many-body dynamics model of ball and socket nozzle、parametric positive ball based on the technology of virtual prototype. Compute and analyze the contact force and distribution between negative and positive ball, the displacement of swing center and the driving torque under different pressure in the system under the sine wave.Thirdly, compute the near wall flow pressure by the means of method of Computational Fluid Dynamics;Build model of finite element analysis and analyze contact finite element of ball and socket nozzle based on finite element software ANSYS, arrive the stress and metamorphism results.The multi-body dynamics coupling、computational fluid dynamics and contact problem finite element method are used to compute and analyze unsettled experimental and theoretical key problems in the model of the solid socket motor -ball and socket nozzle, to form a combination of multi-disciplinary research system and research method; to complete further type design and to increase the economic benefit and the design efficiency.
