Gouging impact on the quality of weld performance,therefore, essential to ensure the quality of the root-gouging. At present, the main use of weld gouging hand-carbon arc air gouging, low efficiency, labor intensity, poor working conditions.Disk-shaped electrode gouging technology is a new type of automatic weld gouging technology, is the use of disk-shaped electrode and the arc between the workpiece as the heat source will be heated to a molten state of metal, with the exception of high-speed air blowing, so as to achieve the purpose of gouging. Its greatly enhanced the production of weld gouging efficiency and reduce the extent of work. It has great role in promoting on Chinese manufacturing development and production of pressure vesselsIn this study, design and processing its downhand position disc electrode gouging device and horizontal position disc electrode gouging devices.Then,they used to making experiments, downhand position disc electrode gouging test and horizontal position disc electrode gouging test. By the experiments, the impact of the quality of the weld gouging parameters is obtained, and may be clearance to ensure that the root of weld process parameters of the best gouging quality. Test results show that the impact of disk-shaped electrode gouging technology, the technical quality of the weld process parameters is arc voltage, current and gouging speed. Among them, the arc voltage and the stability of the process gouging effect is particularly evident. To ensure the best quality of gouging process parameters arc voltage is stable at around 22~24 V, the current size of about 580~600 A.Disc electrode as a result of the special nature of arc root distribution of a greater impact on the gouging.In this study, based on the physical basis of arc,research and analysis of the process gouging arc distribution. Because of the high-speed rotating disc electrode, arc heat inertia, resulting in the proliferation of cathode spot movement, so that arc energy dispersive.In this paper,gouging process of the temperature field simulation of real-time dynamic analysis of the gouging and the performance of organizations.To improve accuracy, taking into account the physical properties of the thermal and mechanical properties as a function of temperature;the use of transitional forms of division of mesh grid in order to ensure adequate weld the weldpool which is at the state of falling head isn’t supported by the solid metal, and the effect of the arc pressure on the weldpool must be controlled to reduce the effect of the gravity on the weld formation. Through the distribution of welding temperature field and thermal cycling curve analysis of the gouging process and comparison, the disk shaped electrode gouging, the impact of technology on the organization less than weld the welding process, the performance of the weld is less significant than that for the disc shaped electrode gouging technology, the feasibility of laying a theoretical foundation.
