Dege County Comprehensive Assessment Of Ecological Carrying Capacity

Today, The development of human society and economic, Enhancement ofhuman ability to transform nature, ecological environment problem increasinglyserious, environmental destruction, resource depletion, population expansion andother global issues,they had a serious impact on human social and economicdevelopment and normal life. From the1970s and1980s, the concept of sustainabledevelopment was raised, people pay more attention to the balance of the ecosystem.Atthe same time, the ecological carrying capacity theory has also been rapiddevelopment. It is now the most important is how to make "natural-Economy-Society" coordinated development of complex ecological systems. In order tomaintain the ecological balance, promote harmonious coexistence between human andnature, to ensure the healthy, rapid economic and social development, the regionalecological environment carrying capacity evaluation is particularly important.This paper analyzes the ecological carrying capacity in Dege County. The localecological environment can have a correct understanding and bring scientificreference to the local government’s economic plan.According to the remote sensing data and other relevant data, using GIStechnology, use AHP to calculate the weight of each factor and evaluate syntheticallyecological carrying capacity in the study area. The main results and understanding asfollows:(1)According to the actual situation in Dege County, establish suitable ecologicalcarrying capacity evaluation system,select eleven evaluation indexes,use the analytichierarchy process to determine the weight of indexes.(2)Results show that the ecological carrying capacity of Dege County is stable asa whole, and the northern part is better than the south one, the eastern part is better than the west。From the view of the the river basin, Yalong River ecological capacityis better than the Jinsha River.(3)With the analysis of the evaluation results， rational utilization andmanagement of forest and meadow resources is the most critical factors affecting theecological carrying capacity. According to the different ecological carrying capacity ineach county,recommendations are provided on the treatment of the ecologicalenvironment.
