Pumping wells data monitoring generally uses the load sensor, angulardisplacement sensor at present, they are placed on the rope hanging device, beamsuperior position, the detected signal transmission to the controller by cable. Themonitoring method of high cost, complex installation process, the cable is easy to beartificial or natural damage, large maintenance workload, it is difficult to long-termsafe and reliable work.For the problem of the dynamometer card detection equipment, installation andremoval of complex, high cost, inconvenient use, not convenient for real-timedetection, prone to failure and maintenance workload, the objective of this research isto design and develop low cost wireless dynamometers to monitor pumping unitoperation, in order to monitor the condition of pumping well, strengthen themonitoring of the oil well oil production process, implemented by manual inspectionwell into the automatic inspection wells, achieve the continuous monitoring of the oilwell production condition, to improve oil production management level; reduce theproduction workers production strength, improve production efficiency, reduceproduction cost; reduced stopping well not timely bring economic losses to oilcompany.This paper based on the research of wireless measurement technology forpumping unit dynamometer card, design a wireless dynamometer having thefollowing functions: real-time data acquisition, wireless data transmission, alarm andother functions, solve the problems of cable testing dynamometer equipment.In this paper, give the wireless dynamometer in two aspects of hardware andsoftware design and improvement, makes the dynamometer has simple structure,convenient installation and disassembly, low power consumption, long service life ofthe battery and detection to the special conditions can be timely feedback and otherfunctions, and expounds the dynamometer’s components, function, principle, hardware design and software design.Finally, the wireless dynamometer was measured in the oil field, the measureddata show that the wireless dynamometer having stable and reliable performance,good effect, can be used for long-term monitoring of oil well production condition.
