This paper take the international on the main popular air quality model, AERMOD and CALPUFF, to simulate the jinan area’s main polluted sources, base on the many factors about pollution sources, the different terrain conditions, surface characteristics, meteorological parameters and the prediction model, predicted range, forecasting methods, the prediction program, analysis the meteorological and topographical conditions which impact the two models in order to provide a reference for optimal air quality model under the conditions of the Jinan region.This paper Collecting and preâ€processing the Land use data, surface meteorological data, altitude weather simulation data and the main contaminated sources which are used by the models. Determining the study area for the50km side length of the rectangular area according to the topographical features of Jinan City, the location of the major sources of pollution distribution and the model’s ability to simulate. Surface meteorological data uses eight measured data a day by Jinan weather station, using WRF to simulate upper air meteorological data, Analyzing the variation characteristics of wind speed, wind direction and upper air meteorology in the four seasons through the jinan area’s Surface and upper air meteorological data, and making analysis of atmospheric transport characteristics simulation of jinan.according to the Jinan urban complex terrain conditions and Jinan regional meteorological conditions, contrasts and analysis the simulation of o the main source of pollution in the study area by the AERMOD model and CALPUFF model, the following conclusions:1ã€The comparison of the seasons simulation for jinan shows that compared to the AERMOD simulation values that the CALPUFF simulation value is closer for the Monitoring values.By analyzing the surface wind field and level horizontal wind field, the size of the stability degree of the mixing layer height, temperature inversion situation, the selection pollution sources and terrain conditions of jinan, CALPUFF model contours concentration diagram is better to explain the degree of pollution by the sources in Jinan region.2ã€The result of a period of pollution is that CALPUFF simulated pollution trends is better consistent of the monitoring values. Combined with relationship of the wind speed, surface and upper wind and the wind direction at every height, the inversion layer thickness and types during the period pollution, obtain results that the CALPUFF simulation results are better reaction the pollution at that time.3ã€Through simulating the hour concentration of typical daily, combining with ground meteorological data, highâ€altitude meteorological data and terrain data, The analysis shows that the maximum concentration of the two model simulation is appearing at different times, the surface meteorological is the major impact for AERMOD simulated concentration distribution. The CALPUFF simulating value is due to the combined effect of the altitude meteorological data, surface meteorological data and terrain. Analyzing the two software’s processing capacity for the meteorological data and terrain date, concluding, CALPUFF model can better react condition of atmospheric conditions in that time, and the method of selecting the slug can be a good solution to the static and small wind problem. Simulation results shows that the simulation results of CALPUFF model for the Jinan area is better than AERMOD in the scope of simulation50km. |
