As the growing demand for paper under the condition of limited forest resources, how to recycle fiber efficiently from waste paper is very important. In order to improve fiber recovery, this thesis mainly studies deinked pulp floatation column equipment used in waste paper and bubble size measurement, etc. This thesis can be divided into flotation column design, image processing, bubble size measurements.Based on the research and study of the CPT flotation column, collecting images of bubbles under different process parameters, and then analysing bubble images with the help of computer vision. Image filtering and image segmentation are studied in the third paragraph, bubbles pixel size can be acquired through edge detection. The relationship of bubble pixel size and actual size can be acquired through the camera calibration; Camera calibration part studies the quality of bubble image under the influence of camera parameters and light source, finally determine the optimum camera parameters and light source, and then according to the imaging characteristics of cross ratio unchanged, correcting camera distortion. After the above research, bubble size distribution can be obtained and the relationship between bubble size and process parameters also is obtained, and then obtain the relationship between bubble size and fiber recovery, providing the basis for flotation column recycled fiber.
