Due to the global climate deterioration and the extreme weather, the issues on world environment changing have been emphasized more than ever. China currently undergoes serious environmental problems like sand-storm and haze, which puts China in the exposure to the climate changing, and this also, catch much attention domestically and overseas. Under such circumstance, to develop a "resource-saving" and "environment friendly" society where people live in harmony with the nature is in demand, and this requires the entire Chinese efforts. Therefore, to maintain a low-carbon environment becomes a worldwide trend. As huge amount textiles are being disposed every year, it causes resource wasting and a serious pollution as well. Therefore, it is urgently to find correct ways on reducing the wasted textile’s harms. By conducting an investigation on used denim replacement project on the behalf of micro public goods, the concept of low-carbon environment can be responded. And some methods on reducing the resources wasting can be also discovered.This research is produced under the background of micro public goods, where the used denim replacement mode can be well investigated. The used denim replacement project, which by have the used denim re-designed, aims at reducing the wastes to protect the environment. By investigating the used denim replacement project, this research provides an in-depth analysis on its origin and the future trend. Meanwhile, both theoretical and practical methods are employed in this article, and the well-shaped case has been applied to guarantee its integrity also. Finally, with the previous conclusions on dealing with used denim, this research will provide some effective suggestions regarding China’s second-hand goods recycling activities.
