Colored Gemstone Jewelry Combining Lighting Art

The beauty of gemstone is the essence of condensing from nature in a very long time.People admire gemstones extremely, because their color are rich and changeful. Thecolor of gemstone can be shown always in the light. This is why the gemstones inthe counter are always beautiful and sparking, but some of them will be cast into theshade, once they left the counter. This is the case, why don’t we set a light in thejewelry, let the gems take on their dazzling brightness whenever and wherever. Sothe inspiration of colored gemstone jewelry accompanying light came into my mind.The use of light and color is the core content of the thesis. I explored the natures,thefeatures and relationships of light and color, and researched the relationship of lightand the color of gemstones in this thesis. Starting from the coloring principle, Idiscussed the color features of different gemstones and the result of interaction oflight and colored stone, and selected the gemstones used in design. Light and color isreflected in many fields of art. I gained the design inspiration from the light color artin the application of painting, landscape and architecture. I suggested that a newconcept colored gemstone jewelry accompanying light in this thesis. The coloredgemstone jewelry researched in the thesis not only used the traditional jewelrymaterials, as colored gemstones, silver, gold and platinum, but also added theelectronic components as a light source. Let the light effect on the colored stones andmetals, and let the light combine with color to create a fantasy and psychedelicvision effect.Based on the above study, To combine traditional jewelry and modern shine jewelry,this paper completed a magnificent crossover combinations, which not onlymaintained the values of people to the traditional jewelry, but also satisfied thepragmatism of wearing. Compared with the traditional jewelry, the colored gemstonejewelry accompanying light widened space extremely on emotional expression anddesign. I tried different gemstones, light sources circuits in design. At last, Idesigned two jewelries named <the blue from heart> and <the summerflower>,which achieved the desired effect. play an important role for more precisedesign.
