The Yalu River is a very special area of the northeast region. In moderntimes, with the rise of Chuang guan dong Wave and the Immigrant ofKoreans, great changes had taken place in Northeast,as the place whereentering was prohibited. After the Japanese invasion of Northeast region,the predatory exploitation of the Yalu River caused the original ecologicaland environmental foundation a fundamental change in this region. Thispaper consists of four chapters, Yalu River is the research object, the timerange is for Waves of migration and Japanese Puppet Period. Analysisesand summarizes about the storage, development and utilization of theresources in this region. This paper tries to investigate the relationshipbetween resources development, social development and environmentalchanges. This paper also preliminary studies the consistency and differences between resources development and the overall development inthe northeast region of Yalu River Basin. And then generalize the specialstatus of the Yalu River Basin in the process of modernization of theNortheast and the positive and negative effects brought by resourcesdevelopment.The first chapter mainly generalizes and introduces resources andenvironment conditions in the Yalu River basin, including the composition ofthe topographic and geologic, hydrological water quality, temperature andclimatic conditions. The status of natural resources is a prerequisite ofresources development in the Yalu River basin, therefore, only systematiclyunderstand and grasp the status of natural resources of this basin can wepave the way for the study of resources development.The second chapter expounds the Kannai immigrants and the reasons forthe influx of North Korean immigrants, process and the status and results ofresources development, this is one of the emphasises of the writing this paper. Resources development can not be separated from the people,butthe unique population structure of the Yalu River Basin make resourcesdevelopment in the region emerge a certain degree of particularity. Theinflux of immigrants was a massive change to resources development,which worthed further exploration.The main content of the third chapter is to explain the predatoryexploitation of the Japanese in China. Due to a particular geographicallocation and historical background, the Yalu River was the first Chineseregion which Japan had meddled, which always played an important role inresources development, and the development amount was enormous,whichbrought a profound impact of the nature and the society of the Yalu River.The fourth chapter analyzes and summarizes the positive and negativeeffects caused by resource development. The modest resourcesdevelopment and utilization, can promote the development and progress ofsociety, but reckless over-exploitation, can also cause many negativeeffects. This chapter deeply probes resources development of the Yalu River Basin, is a sublimation of the content of the first three chaptersexplained, also reflects the purposively of this article.
