In the recent years, water pollution events occur frequently with the development of society and economy. Establishing water quality monitoring and early warning system to guarantee drinking water security is important and necessary. Domestic research on this field has just started, and the existing system can not meet the rapid growing water quality data and the high performance requirements, so a new computing model is urgently to be put forward. In this thesis, investigations have been conducted on the heterogeneous and distributed water quality data, and a high-performance computing model on Hydrodynamic is brought up.This paper makes use of cloud computing technology to build security service platform by constructing distributed data resource layer, virtualized computing resource layer and visual water quality simulation and rendering modules. The main contents and innovations of the thesis are as follows:(1) According to the analysis of this field, a Water Quality Security Service Platform(WQSP) based on cloud computing was designed, which consists of data resource layer, computing resource layer, application service layer, and user layer.(2) The data resource layer of WQSP was designed and realized, and the water quality data calling standard was primarily unified by the bridge pattern. To handle the data isomerism problem, a data resource based on the distributed database and the testing station database integration was designed. Reflection technique and Java database connection technique were applied to realize the heterogeneous data integration based on ORM, and to support the database access operation.(3) The computing resource layer of WQSP was designed through the study of computing resource virtualization. In order to solve the visual resource allocation problem in computing resource layer, a virtual machine controller was designed and a virtual machine control module based on Xen Server API was developed. A task scheduling strategy based on economy model was put forward to arrange a probable order for a large number of tasks, which realized the visual computation service of computational resource layer. (4) Water quality data visualization rendering technology was studied based on SaaS technique. By analyzing the specific realization method of presentation layer, application layer and data layer, a channel dynamic segmentation method and rendering technology based on triangulation was proposed, realizing water pollution diffusion process in the clouds GIS environment of animation simulation and dynamic rendering. At last, the performance of water quality information and dynamic data release has been realized by simulating and rendering a chemical pollution accident of some certain river and reservoir.As the key technology research above mentioned, the WQSP is preliminary built up, with the functions of high-performance computing on Hydrodynamic model and water quality simulation visualization rendering. Finally a sudden water pollution incident was used in WQSP for the test work.
