Lujiang iron ore resources exploitation activities since the Tang Dynasty has not stopped, the mining state weakened, the legacy of waste slag, tailings and leached by precipitation of acid formation water. The acid water is mixed with the groundwater which is flowing into the adit, and it flows out of the surface with strong acid water from the hole, and finally flows into the downstream of the alpine River, causing serious pollution to the surface water.Nowadays,we need to manage mines in this area, but there is no exploration hole and hydrological observation hole in the mine area,so we can't observe the process and changing rule of water acidification. In this paper, based on the existing field geological prospecting data, field investigation is carried out to speculate on the hydrologic process and the process of water acidification in the mining area. The water and rock reactions that cause water acidification in the scope of the study area are determined according to the existing data, and the target chemical factors that lead to the acidification of water quality are confirmed. The leaching experiment of slag is made to further confirm the variation of various ions in the process of water acidification, and to confirm the representative ions according to the experimental results.Based on the experimental results and the variation of representative ions with time,a water quality model is established.Through the field measured water quality change data, the model parameters are adjusted to confirm the water quality model which is close to the reality.According to the model, the change law of the water acidification in the future is predicted, which provides a scientific basis for the later mine treatment.
