This paper reviewed the research process about the current industry development status and advances in domestic and internation standards about biodiesel,including biodiesel blending with petroleum diesel. Then resloved a series of test methods of each indicators. And proposed a number of suggestion for inproving the demestic standard system of biodiesel. Establish an evaluation system for biodiesel from these factors on eligibility of raw materials,production process,quality evaluation,environmental protection,security,stability and mixed uniform,also pionted out some problems about detection technology for biodiesel.The application for biodiesel by Fourier transform near infrared spectroscopy (FTNIR), the full spectrum of direct reading inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) was main researched.And An automatic weighing software (Auto-weighing1.0) was successfully developed.A rapid method for determination of mixing ratio、density、kinematic viscosity、heat value、closed cup flash point and cold filter plugging point for biodiesel blending with diesel was established by Near-infrared spectroscopy. These properties basic data ware obtained form standard methods, which was treated with near-infrared spectra of biodiesel by use of the partial least squares(PLS).The result showed that linear correlation between fitted values and true values measured by standard methods all are significant on the recommended rank (Rec) by OPUS spectroscopy software after models optimized. It has convenient, low error, low cost and etc advantages when these two models are used to determine these indexes for unknown biodiesel blending with diesel and Mahalanobis distance (MahDist) can be used to limit exception item. All are in the permissible range. For a new type of biodiesel, the model can be extended by adding10more new blend samples, the model so obtained will provide more accurate results for these properties of this type of biodiesel. The method could be a new method about determination of these properties for biodiesel. Near Infrared physical and chemical properties analyzer for biodiesel is able to be developed base on the method, which can achieve determination of low cost and rapid.Na, K, Ca, Mg, Cu, Pb, Zn, Fe, Al, Cr, Mn, Ni, V, Si and P trace elements in biodiesel were determined by the whole spectrum direct-reading optical emission spectral analysis with inductively coupled plasma (ICP-OES) method was described in this paper, The results can be used to evaluate the quality of biodiesel.The method is simple, the whole spectrum direct-reading, rapid determination of multiple elements simultaneously, higher sensitivity and accuracy and etc advantages when it is used for determination of trace elements in biodiesel. The ratio which the mean matrix spike recovery is from80%to130%is77%, and the ratio of the mean relative standard deviation which is less than10%is82%. The article can be provided a reference to develop new trace elements indicator of biodiesel and add standard information.The relationship between physical and chemical indicators of different types of biodiesel and mixing ratio was described,which could master physical and chemical indicators of biodiesel blending with petroleum diesel and provide a reference for different types of biodiesel standards.The automatic weighing system software which specifically developed for biodiesel, coal, etc company or testing organization was described. It was mainly used for automatic weighing,data management, statistical analysis, trend analysis of each indicator, cost assessment,sharing the experimental results synchronization in the local area network,etc. Which could eliminate fraud in the determination process to ensure true and reliable data. You could grasp trend and variation of each indicator of different batches,place,type of biodiesel or coal at any time by its powerful database. Which provided a basis for business decisions.
