Product assembly virtual training system is to solve the problems during theprocess of traditional assembly training. Such as training efficiency and the trainingquality relatively low, security of training process is difficult to guarantee, engineeringcontradictions and teaching contradictions during training process and so on. It haschanged the traditional training method of concentration training, which is lack ofpersonalization, and with the very broad application prospects. However, due to thediversity of products, it will of course lead to the problems of too high costs ofdevelopment of the virtual training system, too complex development process and etc.The generation of product assembly virtual training system design platform is just inorder to solve this problem. Due to the diversity of products and virtual training systemdiversity, it will inevitably lead to a great project of design platform development. Forthis reason, virtual training system has been developed, according to which to developthe design platform. This platform provides concise interface, through the simplyinteraction process with users, it will create virtual training system which is applicableto any kind of products.This paper has introduced key technologies during the development process ofvirtual training system and the design platform. The technologies mainly include thetechnologies of virtual environment models’ creation and optimization, realization ofsimplified model of thread in virtual environment, and also with realization of model’sinteractive movement in three-dimensional space and so on. Since the development ofthe design platform depends on our own virtual training system, this paper greatlyfocus on the detailed process and the concrete realization method of each module’sdevelopment of the virtual training system.This paper use a photoelectric mouse base’s assembly process as an example, according to the key link during the process of development the program design flowchart is provided, also gives the detailed program statement and correspondingrenderings. At last, use a tyre forming machine’s XX transmission box as an example,perform a verification test on the design platform. The results show that the trainingsystem developed by this design platform can well realize reservation functions.
