Seven Ln3+complexes and four transition metal coordination complexes weresynthesized by hydrothermal method, in which, the lanthanide ions were selected as thecentral metal ions, and the organic conjugated systems with carboxylate group were chosen asthe main ligands. The single-crystal of these complexes was obtained and their structureswere studied by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, their formulas are presented as following:(1){[Er(OX)1.5(H2O3]·3H2O}n(2){[Pr(OX)1.5(H2O)3]·2H2O}n(3)[Nd(NO2C6H4COO)2(Ac)(H2O)3]2(4){[Pr(1,3-bdc)(Ac)(H2O)2]·H2O}n(5){[Tb(1,3-bdc)(Ac)(H2O)2]·H2O}n(6)[Pr(2-Pyzc)(OX)(H2O)2]n(7)[Nd(2-Pyzc)(OX)(H2O)2]n(8)[Cr3(μ3-O)(μ2-O)2(C7H4NO44(phen)2(H2O)3]·NO3·3H2O(9)[Cr3(μ3-O)(C7H4NO46(H2O)3]·OH (10){[NaCr(OX)2(phen)(H2O)]·H2O}n(11)[Cd(2,3-pydc)(H2O)2]nThe eleven coordination complexes are first synthesized. Thier structures have1Dstructures,2D network structures and3D network structures. Compounds (1),(2),(6) and (7)are the2D structure, and these four compounds are linked into3D supermolecule structuresby the hydrogen bonds. The diversity structures enrich the topology structures of coordinationcomplexes. The IR, UV-Vis-NIR absorption spectra and the luminescencespectra of the eleven complexes were determined and analyzed with detail, furthermore thephoto-electronic properties of complexes (8),(9) and (10) were detected by surfacephotovoltage spectra(SPS). Their photoluminescences are mainly studied. As the organicligand can sensitize the luminescence properties of Ln3+ions, compounds (5) in the visiblearea showed strong green luminescence of Tb3+ion, which is expected to be the potentialapplication for the monochrome devices. Although, the fluorescence of compounds (1),(2),(3),(4),(6) and (7) in the visible region is relatively weak, but they should be have strongemission near infrared area.
