Abstract/Summary:
PAO base oil can be used as high-grade lubricant base oil because of its superior viscosity-temperature resistance, low-temperature fluidity and high oxidation stability. For example, it can be used as high-grade oil in the car, aerospace oil and so on. After entering the21st century, with the development of machinery and automobile industry, the PAO base oil is increasingly welcomed by the people. This paper studies the high viscosity PAO synthetic process and hope to provide a reference for its industrialization.In this paper, the process of1-dencene polymerization for high viscosity PAO has been studied during which the anhydrous AlCl3is used as catalyst. First, prepare PAO40by the bulk polymerization method. In this stage, the effects of polymerization temperature, concentration of anhydrous AlCl3, additive X/anhydrous AlCl3, reaction time on polymerization process and properties of the products has been discussed. The results show that, when the polymerization temperature is10℃, the concentration of anhydrous AlCl3is2%, additive X/anhydrous AlCl3is0.1and the reaction time5hour, we can obtain the products of PAO with good comprehensive performance. Viscosity:40cst; Viscosity Index:>150; Molecular weight distribution:Narrow.Reference to the impact of various factors on the polymerization process of PAO40, the writer does the research of the polymerization process of PAO100with solution polymerization. The results show that using solution polymerization method to prepare PAO100or higher viscosity PAO base oil is feasible. For the polymerization process of1-decene with anhydrous AlCl3, low polarity solvent L is more suitable for polymerization process. And under the condition of the polymerization temperature:10℃, the concentration of anhydrous AlCl3:3%, dropping rate of1-decene:067g/min, additive X/anhydrous AlCl3:0.1, solvent L/1-decene:0.25, the superior performance of PAO100can be obtained.In order to reduce the chlorine content in the PAO products, the termination process of the PAO are studied. Includs the temperature of the aqueous phase, the oil phase viscosity, and other factors.
