| The basic function of CNC milling tool management is to reduce the tool cost, thusreducing the manufacture cost for enterprise. The recently studies about manufacture processof CNC enterprise show that about20%time of engineer is spent on looking for the suitedtool; about16%of scheduled operations are stop due to the lack of tools;40%-80%time ofmanagers is used to find suited tool; while30%-60%tools is not managed effectively。The optimization of tool on production line can reduce not only the cost of unit toolconsumption when producing tool is used, but also can reduce the daily operation costs.Advanced tool will increase the production efficiency, thus reducing the production cost, suchas, reducing the cost of tool management and stock, increasing life of tool, etc. CNC millingmanagement system can effectively optimize tool and reduce the cost.In this paper, CNC milling management system is detail analyzed and descript. Thispaper analyzes business model and requirement analysis of management system and useobject oriented method to design system. At the same time, corresponding softwaretechniques, such as software modeling, database access and software development are alsostudied. The main contributions of this paper are that:1. Establishing the business model for milling tool management system. System businessmodel is evolved from traditional business model for establishing system model usingsoftware technique. This paper not only studies the business flow of CNC millingmanagement and corresponding software system, but also descripts the functions and roles ofeach activities among business flow.2. Requirement analysis of management system. In this paper, UML language is used todescript the requirement analysis, and use-case model is adopted to analyze businessrequirement. More specifically, use-case model and system roles are designated according tobusiness model, and then each use-case is analyzed. Use-case not only describe both majorscenario of main business model and branch flow after major scenario failed, but also analyzethe input data, output data and the execution of each use-case.3. Software system design. Based on business model and requirement analysis, useingobject oriented method to design software models for different business of tool includingclassification, purchase, stock, assembly-disassembly and dispatch, etc.4. Finishing the system prototype design using model driven method. According toabove design method, a CNC milling management information system software is realized. |
