Fengfeng mine area is typical of the karst mining area, mine water disaster problem has been the major problem that persecuted the mine safety production.Along with the increase of mining depth, geology and hydrogeologic conditions more complicated, mine water disaster problem, especially the water inrush problem become more prominent, seriously imperiled the mine safety production.The research of coal seam floor water-resisting layer’s ability is the key to mine water prevention and control.This article selects a mine of the Fengfeng Group who is mining deep coal seam as an example.Use the theoretical analysis of floor failure characteristics as a guide, taking the method that combined the spot test, indoor arrangement and numerical simulation analysis, to systematically analysis the stress distribution, displacement variation characteristics of mining coal seam and research the damage feature of deep coal seam floor, then sum up the failure regularity of coal seam floor that under high pressure environment.The research can promote further understanding on mine water inrush mechanism.This is the foundation of design an reasonable and effective proposal to manage and prevent water inrush disaster.lt has important guiding significance For the similar mine to realize safe mining.
