The total scale of mineral development of our country is in front of the world. But for along time, the development and utilization of mineral resources is extensive, lacks to thereal-time monitoring.As a result of this, the illegals act frequently and the ecology-icalenvironment is damaged heavily in mining areas. For the past few years, the problems ofgeological environment and ecological system have gradually attracted more attentions frompeople and the research work of mine environment has been spread out in our country. Thegovernment uses statistics and reports through administrative levels and masses to informagainst to master mine development problems,As the mining geo-environmental monitoringmainly uses complicated and high cost field investigation and analysis, it is difficult togather datas of mining exploitation and environment from metallogenic belts and oreconcentration area in our country. The remote sensing technology has some advantages,such as high speed, low cost, wide detection range and it also can reflect characteristics ofmine terrain evolution. Taking advantage of various kinds of remote sensing datas ondifferent platforms which have diverse spatial and spectral resolution and temporalfrequency, it is possible to provide objective and real-time datas for mininggeo-environment and to ascertain collapse factors, the distributions of mud-rock flow andsubsidence areas, the situations of spontaneous combustion of coal, and so on.It caneffectively improve supervision and administration efficiency and management quality.The coal resource in Shuangyashan is very abundant.The coal carbon proved reserves of11.7billion tons which ranks first in the province.There are many other mineral resourcessuch as the only large-scale magnetite ore deposit of Yangbishan in the province and gold,graphite, white tungsten, marble, limestone and so on. The mine geological environment is heavily destroyed as a result of the large-scale development of the rich mineralresources.At the same time, there are so many historical mine geological environmentproblems. We choose the Shuangyashan coal fields as the background of the remote sensingsurvey of geological environment with methods of data collection, high resolution remotesensing monitoring and field verification. We find out that geological environment problemscaused by mine exploitation mainly include geologic hazards such as surface collapse,landslide,and avalanche and so on.On the basis of remote sensing survey and monitoring,quantitative and qualitative evaluations of the mine geological environmental quality will beput out. The evaluate results are classified to find out the main environmental geologicalproblems,so that we can make effective decisions for the protection and improvement ofmine geological environment. The evaluate results are classified to find out the mainenvironmental geological problems and the causes of them,so that it can provide scientificbasis for planning land of urban construction.The above achievements of remote sensing survey and monitoring provide an effectivelycoordinated with all levels of ore administration management departments of Heilongjiangprovince,At the same time,it supplies decision basis and technical supports for departmentsof land and resources to make mineral resource planning and to size up the situations of itsimplementations.
