Chromatic Difference Properties of Color Coating Steel require the same or different as small as possible for the same plate or in different parts of the same batch of different coils. Researching how to control the Chromatic Difference of color coated products is to improve the quality of color coated products an important part.In this study, regression analysis, variance test were conducted a targeted analysis to the problem for chromatic difference of Benxi Steel color coating line products. Through controlling of the impact factors, to reduce and then eliminate chromatic difference of color coated products, to improve the appearance of quality. The study gains the following significant results:(1) There is the inverse relationship between AL and film thickness for the dark color products. There is the direct proportion relationship between AL and film thickness for the light color products. There is the inverse relationship between AB and paint and primer thickness difference. For some the color of the product, it is unable to adjust AA effectively in the production line. The value of AA could only be improved by adjusting AB value.(2) The influences of coating viscosity and coating machine parameters on the thickness of the coating have been studied to master a good law, and effectively control the product thickness. The law is that ensuring paint viscosity stability, adjusting the pressure between coating roll and pick-up roll, the pick-up roll speed to adjust product thickness.(3) Through researching the relation between the curing oven process parameters and chromatic difference, to master the impact of different paint curing peak metal temperature (PMT) on the product chromatic difference. There is the inverse relationship between AL and PMT for the dark color products. There is the direct proportion relationship between AL and PMT for the light color products. The effective control parameters of curing furnace process have been developed based on comprehensive consideration of the curing furnace process. When the thickness adjustment of product is not convenience, curing oven process parameters can be adjusted to adjust the product chromatic difference.
