Offshore platform is the main equipment and tool of exploration and mining of deep-sea oil and gas resource, regarded as the infrastructure of offshore production and operation. Owing to the complexity and uncertainty of the environment, offshore platform appears a series of failure mode easily. Each mode will damage the platform’s structure and health unexpectedly, cause major economic losses and casualties. Deep-sea floating platform monitoring technology is used to measure the structure response and environment information by installing and arranging sensor at the part of platform’s important structure, the technology is also a method of analyzing the structure safety and environment load with long-term monitoring data.This paper summarizes each failure mode and its form of deep-sea floating platform, and puts forward a redundancy monitoring program according to the deep-sea floating platform’s monitoring content:floating body’s position and posture, environment load and underwater structure. This paper also develops the bundle and calibration software of self-contained sensor, and designs a deep-sea floating platform monitoring integrated system, which includes the functional analysis and design of monitoring collecting station, central control room displaying system and data communication system. Its core is monitoring station, which simply the scene wiring scheme. The workers on the platform can watch the structure and environment variation of floating body by displaying system. This essay makes a large number of performance tests with the monitoring sensors and monitoring integrated system, in order to work steadily. Offshore platform monitoring databases system is structured and monitoring data similarity searching is studied deeply. Finally, this paper puts forward a similarity searching algorithm with higher searching efficiency and measurement accuracy based on offshore platform monitoring database.Monitoring integrated system is installed and implemented on the scene at South Sea LH11-1floating platform. After a long period of overall fielding monitoring, the monitoring sensors and system serve well. Mass of real monitoring data is acquired. Many parameter variation tendency of platform are gained by analyzing and researching monitoring data preliminary, provide valuable data for the future research of offshore floating platform in our country.
