Because of the rapid development of the oil industry, the thick-walled spiral pipe as the main part of the oil extraction screw pump stator has wide-developing prospects.Currently, most of the various methods of the product of the spiral tube is only applicable to the thin-walled spiral tube.Thick wall spiral pipe processing method is basically in theoretical research and experimental stage, it has not been applied to large-scale production practice due to the technology is immature.Therefore, we must explore new production methods and processes.This is paper applies computer simulation technology and finite element analysis techniques to the thick wall spiral pipe forming machine design.Computer simulation analysis techniquest can predict all aspects of the device performance index in a real working environment and it is an effective method for soft object deformation and movement simulation. It includes a few of the necessary steps, from the structural design,3D modeling, vice meshing to the analysis of the simulation mechanism in the real work of the movement, deformation, etc.The real purpose of finite element analysis is to better optimize the structural design of the device, to improve the performance of the equipment, to provide guidance for the design of research.In this paper, Pro/e is used to design forming equipment and using Deform-3D is used for finite element analysis.The main content and innovation point of the paper are as follows:(1) Thick-wall spiral pipe forming equipment design analysisThe overall plan has been made to make a thick wall spiral pipe forming machine structure design, and a reasonable and fine design of various branches of the machine has been given. Thick wall spiral pipe forming machine design institutions:rack, push-and-pull device, drive mechanism, heating device, forming institutions, proposes a new thick wall spiral pipe processing method. (2) Forming machine structure designThis paper design each mechanism of thick wall spiral pipe forming machine individually, rack, push-and-pull device, drive mechanism, heating device, forming institutions has their own structure.we must follow the principle of simplifying mechanical agencies, improve operational stability and accuracy and save cost.(3) Kinematics simulation and interference checkingThe three-dimensional model of parts of hick wall spiral pipe forming machine created by using the PRO/E. In the paper, it prepare a condition for the analysis of dynamics simulation. Virtual machine assembly, motion simulation and interference checking has been made in this paper, and be revised in timely in order to achieve the design optimization.(4) Finite element analysis of machine forming processThick-walled spiral tube forming process has been done by numerical simulation. Analysis on the simulation results and the output of the analog curve, for thick wall spiral pipe manufacturing provides a theoretical basis.The purpose of this study can greatly shorten the production test cycle, to reduce production costs and increase the reliability of the program design, can provide important experimental evidence for the actual production of the product.
