Alumins ceramics material as new material with high temperature resistance,corrosion resistance, high hardness, wear resistance and other excellentproperties, if made with the metal materials, play their respective advantages, itcan greatly improve the comprehensive properties of metal matrix composite. Butbecause of the two differences in physical performance, to obtain ideal weldingjoints require complex process, it is very expensive. Therefore, through thesimple and economic method to achieve the joining of ceramic metal and toachieve the desired joint strength, more and more attention by the people. Basedon the RP-1003type medium speed coal mill as research object, as a means tosurfacing ceramic embedded in the disc in the surfacing layer, ceramic andsurfacing layer mechanical connection. By using finite element analysis softwareMSC.MARC, the welding temperature field; stress, strain field distribution andvariation are analyzed. And through the actual physical experiments verify thereliability of the simulation.The numerical simulation results show that: useing of Fe-05II electrode forwelding in the process of filling material and heat transfer of the heat transfercharacteristics of actual solder, welding solder temperature is about1900℃, thehighest temperature is2650℃degrees of arc, in the line with the actual weldingarc temperature. The selection of welding heat source and process parameters inthe simulation of welding process of the welding temperature field distribution inthe line with the actual distribution of the temperature field in arc welding.Simulation using Fe-05II, J422welding rod, welding wire YD397-1andER50-4wire as the filling material through the welding methods of aluminaceramic rods or ceramic pipes buried in the base plate, the welding stress. Theresults show that: the use of Fe-05II electrode welding ceramic rod by equivalentstress, radial stress relatively minimal, the force is less than the ultimate compressive strength of ceramics, can make the ceramic rod firmly embedded inthe matrix and to the fracturing. Fe-05II electrode welding ceramic tube byequivalent stress, J422welding rod, welding wire, welding wire YD397-1, ER50-4after the ceramic rod and a ceramic tube equivalent stress than ceramicmaterials ceramic compressive strength, easy cracking in the surfacing layer.Through to the ceramic rods, ceramic pipe stress analysis comparison,determining the Fe-05II electrode effect best.The experiment separately on the J422electrode, Fe-05II electrode bymanual arc welding; welding wire, welding ER50-4, YD397-1by using CO2gasprotection welding. After welding ceramic out tested, verified by experiment, thesimulation results accord with the experiments.
