With the popularity of oil and gas mixed transportation technology in the oil field gathering and transportation system, Slug flow often appears in the oil and gas multiphase pipelines. Slug flow will increasing the pressure drop in the pipeline and increasing pipe wall corrosion, caused great damage to pipelines arid equipment connected, also will affect the normal work of the downstream oil and gas processing device. To ensure oil field security and stability of production, there is an urgent need to research the slug flow characteristics in oil and gas multiphase pipelines, also need to control and eliminate the slug flow.In this paper mainly studies the slug flow hydraulic and heat calculation method in horizontal and inclined pipe, and studies slug flow model and the method of calculation of the characteristic parameters. Using computer language to compile a software for Slug flow process calculation in oil and gas multiphase pipelines. The software can calculate slug flow pressure drop and temperature drop and characteristics parameters. Provides a tool for the quantitative analysis of slug flow in oil and gas multiphase pipelines. In this paper, the control and elimination of the slug flow was studied. Frequently used in the oil field in the slug catcher’s type, structure and design methods are summarized. And introduced with an example of the slug catcher’s size optimal design method. |
