Modular Combination Of NC Machine Tools

With the more and more fast changes of Market demand,and the development of advanced manufacturing technology, modular design is receiving widespread attention from manufacturing and academia,because modular design have the advantages of shorten the product development cycle, respond quickly to market changes, be useful of product’s maintenance,upgrades and re-use, relative to extend the life cycle of product. Modular design includes module division and module combination those two steps, module combination is the core process of modular design,and how to make modular combination is one of the issues tha must be addressed.This paper stuy the modular combination of NC machine tools, the main work this paper have done include the following aspects:(1) Elaborating the modular combination method that based on modular family model.Give detailed description for modular modular family and modular family model., and the theoretical process for this combination method:(2) Research module coding. According to the characteristics and modules encoding rules of NC machine tools. developed a machine code module table and implement some modular code of NC machine tools.(3) Research modul selet which is the core problem for modular combination. Giving module selection flowchart,and detailed description the module selection algorithm,and checking the algorithm that based on the bed of NC machine tools.(4) Research the program evaluate of modular combination program.Giving the evaluate model for the program evaluate of NC machine tools,and the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) method is used to evaluate the combination program.(5) Design the modular combination systems. Combined with the development of NC machine tools coding table, initial set up of the machine module coding library. Used Visual Basic computer language design the module combination system framework for NC machine tools, and complete Implement the function of module select. Used Matlab softwore develop calculation programs which about the Module selection and module combination algorithm.
