| The office seat is one of most useful and highest timing use tools in daily work, and is becoming the most important ones in all kinds of seats in recent years. A humanized office seat usually represents the manufacturer’s exploring strength and the foundation for expanding product market. So it is an important issue to think about how to improve the design method and product a proper seat for different people.Surveys from the office seat manufacturer show that the products are usually lack of personalized design elements, with less consideration of the user’s physiology characteristic curve, just depend on the designer’s experience to modify the model repeatedly, which lead to the problem of bad match and the user’s vertebra strains in different degree.In this paper, through the three-dimensional modeling method, realize the double design to the office seat. Based on the parametric technology, the spinal curve model of different individual could be fast built. By using the spinal curve model to design the seat again, it can improve the body-fit of the office seat and meet the requirements of different persons.To sum up, this subject is based on the parametric feature modeling technology, combined with the redesign platform characteristics and the requirements, to research the parametric design platform for office seats. Researches in this paper are mainly from the following aspects:(1) Analysis of the office seat design characteristics. According to the interviews of designers and the studies of ergonomics in seat, the index for office seat designing is summarized.(2) Extraction of the human body vertebra curve and parameterized modeling. Firstly, analyze the characteristics of the human body vertebra, to extract the parameters reflecting the vertebra curve. Then according to the characteristic point coordinates and the index parameters of the office seat, build the constraint model and get the parameterized representation. Last based on the spline curves to fit the human body vertebra curve, and build its model.(3) Realization of the redesign platform based on UG secondary development. Using UG secondary developing tools UG/Open API, establish the system interface of the office seat redesign platform; by means of point to line, realize the parameterized human vertebra curve model according to VC++, and finally achieve the redesign platform. Innovation points in this paper:(1) Construct the model database for office seat.(2) Establish the parameterized human vertebra curve model.(3) Propose a redesign method based on human body for the office seat.(4) Realize the redesign platform for the office seat. |
