In thispaper the technical achievements are obtained as follows:(1) Using the precision (0.01mg of sense) electronic balances(AG245company)with theability of data communication and computer forms weighing data acquisition system, anddesigns the length measurement cut off system, which can adapt to1cm~100m fragmentsof measurement. Overall it constitutes the article yarn length measurement weighing andanalysis device.(2) According to the communication protocol of the electronic balance, data receivingformat develops weighing data acquisition and analytical module, designing the twoweighing mode: one is continuous accumulation weighing method, and the other is weighingin turn method, offering a convenient for the user.(3) For the conversion from tex to diameter using yarn volume weight,it presents anestimation method, with which the yarn twisting degree will be divided into three interval,thus makes the estimation of yarn volume weigh by the fiber density more precise. In order tomake system have stronger ability of adaption and expansion, the designed software systemallows users to have the choice to revise voluntarily.(4) Software embedded in the standard data table (metric moisture regain, fiber density),and designed the calculation function of the metric moisture regain and volume weight ofblended yarn, which can make conversion in the different forms of fiber blending ratio.(5) The calculation,display, inquiry, output, storage and other functions of the yarn sliverunevenness curve, the length variation curve,the fineness index and conversion and unevenessindex were realized.It makes using the testing length weighing method to measure yarn linear density and uneveness more efficient and perfect, but also promotes the applicationefficiency of the technology.The test system in this subject of the yarn linear density and fragments uneveness usedmodular programming thought,which mainly included electronic balance data acquisitionmodule, the main program module, raw material management module, data query model, datareport module, user login module, user Settings module, yarn fineness unit conversion moduleand so on.
