| Along with China’s industrial development, the demand for steel products shows agrowing trend in recent years, especially the cold rolled products. As an important processof producing it, the annealing process is developing quickly, too. Strong convectional andfull hydrogen protected bell annealers are prevalently used since1970s and make theproductivity increased and the quality improved. Currently, the full-hydrogen bell-typeannealers represent the most advanced annealing technology. However, due to intellectualproperty and confidentiality, the model calculation has always been one of the difficultproblems which restricted the self-transformation and expansion of the bell annealers,andthe deep research of it will help to improve the heat treatment level and manufacture levelof the bell annealers. The research of the protective gas (typically hydrogen, nitrogen)flow is not only the premise to calculate the heat convection in the annealer, but also thekey point to know temperature field changes of coils during annealing process.The flow characteristic of work base is complicated,and the numerical simulation caneffectively solve the problem. With the development of computer technology, thesimulation results is accurate enough to reappear the practical situation. In addition, manypractical experiments are difficult to realize because of all kinds of limits, and thecomputer processing techniques are used more and more widely.What’s more, there aremany sorts of variables and uncertain factors in the actual situation. The paper firstlygives us a real reflect of flow distribution of every convection board and passage by thesimulation of CFD, then accurately processes the flow distribution according to thecommon network processing method and compares each model to find their good and badpoints. Finally the affecting factors and their influence on the flow are analyzed. It helpsgive us a better understanding of the flow characteristic of work base and a more optimalprocessing of off-line simulation. |
