Abstract/Summary:
The process of Dioscorea zingiberensis requires a lot of water, most of thecompanies build in close proximity to water resources, wastewater from the process ofDioscorea zingiberensis discharge outside to these water resources, in particular thatserious pollution to the midline of water diversion from south to north,forming ahugethreat. This is the key environmental problems from the process of Dioscoreazingiberensis. Wastewater from the process of Dioscorea zingiberensis has high acidity,high concentration organic wastewater, the core part of this pilot study is anaerobic part.By examining start-up process and the stable operation between the two-phase UASBprocess and the single-phase UASB,the study analysis the removal efficiency of itsCOD, ammonia etc. Combining reactor operation stability analysis, the best technologyand operating parameters is determined.Anaerobic reactors temperature were controlled at32℃~36℃,The liquid upflowvelocity of methanogenic UASB and single-phase UASB were0.7m/h and0.5m/h underthe conditions of start.After100days the reactors almost reach the design load (thevolume load of two-phase UASB reached10kgCOD/(m3d), the single-phase9kgCOD/(m3d)).After it Stable, two-phase UASB process on the COD removal rate stable at anaverage of85%to90%, single-phase UASB process on the average COD removal ratestable at80%to90%; the methanogenic UASB and single-phase UASB stability of thepH are6.5; two reactors had little removal effects on ammonia; the volume biogasproduction of two-phase anaerobic reactor and single-phase anaerobic reactor were4.5m3/m3,3.8m3/m3. The bicarbonate alkalinity of Methanogenic UASB and single-phaseUASB effluent were about700mg/L,750mg/L.The sludge cultivated by the two reactors is both sand-like. The sludge volume index(SVI) is approximately2g/ml,and the value of MLVSS/MLSS is approximately0.5.Theconcentration of MLSS of two-phase and single-phase UASB reactor are160g/L and100g/L respectively. According to comprehensive comparison,there is no obvious difference between two-phase and single-phase UASB reactor,when treating saponin manufacturingwastewater with hydrochloric acid acidification as the productive technology.We found in the experimental that obvious scaling phenomenon exist in both ofanaerobic reactor and aerobic reactor,and the main composition of the scale is calcite(CaCO3).The effluent of anaerobic reactor has a trend of scaling,with saturation index (SI)of0.75and0.79respectively for two-phase and single-phase UASB reactor.Scalingphenomenon affect the anaerobic reactor a lot,the main influence is reducing alkalinitywater,affecting the operation stability of anaerobic reactors and reducing the sludgeactivity.
