In recent years, with the rapid growth of sales, knitting machine has a huge shortfall in home market, while domestic technology is relatively backward, and high-end knitting machine has been monopolized by foreign with expensive price. In order to fill the breach of the market, enrich the varieties of domestic knitting machine NC system, promote the development of domestic knitting machine forward, and promote the domestic knitting machine technological level, the embedded NC system of knitting machine with independent intellectual property has been researched and developed in this thesis.The composition and needle selection principle of single head double system knitting machine have been analyzed in detail, and the formation of basic weaving units also be focused on in this thesis. The structure with upper, middle, and lower three numerical control systems have been established according to the control and users needs. The software platform with the ARM Linux system of upper machine has been established, and the function modules of embedded NC system of knitting machine have been divided into details.Based on detailed study on the structure and process of knitting machine, the interpreter for embedded NC system of knitting machine has been overall design, and a braided line data has been divided into dynamic and static data. The generation algorithm for dynamic data with needle selector and yarn solenoid and static data with motor and triangulation electromagnet has been designed and implemented.According to the system platform features and HMI needs the Qt graphics library has been selected. In accordance with the HMI design principles and functional requirements the HMI for embedded NC system of knitting machine has been divided into operation monitoring, parameter setting, pattern management,file storage, machine testing, and each module has been implemented with Qt GUI. The communication service between upper and middle system has been detailed designed. The command and file service for communication have been developed in the last.Finally, through the comprehensive debugging, the system is able to weave the rule pattern and can meet the technical indicators requirements.
