The bar in the production process by a given size cut end of the bar can easilyproduce glitches, bumps, and flash and other phenomena, must cut off the bar inorder to meet the needs of the market, face processing to this end, many bar fineline companies using a variety of measures on both ends of the bar chamferinggrinding: the portable grinding machines grinding, fixed wheel machine polished,machine tools, turning way, the results are unable to meet the requirements of theunit. The main problems are:1) low processing efficiency, and not be able to complete the processing offine bar chamfering, making a large backlog;2) chamfer quality is poor, especially in the way through the grinding wheelgrinding processing the work piece rotation flatness of the neutral can not beguaranteed, the glitch can not be completely removed;3) human labor intensity and poor working conditions of workers;4) In the chamfer grinders and grinding way, the swing of the bar end, thegrinding wheel a strong impact, easy to cause grinding wheel breakage fly out,there is a big security risk.The various issues listed above, commissioned by a stainless steel fine wireenterprises, successfully developed a high-speed automatic chamfering machine hasbeen put into use, and have achieved the desired effect.Modular design, high-speed automatic chamfering machine through the PLCprogram control system with PLC and touch two-way communication between thescreen and PLC, the whole system runs automatically. Set by a simple touch screeninterface, the PLC real-time data and parameter settings to improve the operabilityof the system. The system uses sensors to limit, to ensure the safety and reliabilityof chamfering machine running. Photoelectric sensors detect the starting position ofthe work piece, the work piece length error compensation and the feed positionerror, according to the feedback signal to control the displacement of the toolforward, the accuracy of the chamfer. High-speed chamfering machine successfullydeveloped a good solution to the problem of slender bar finishing at the same timegreatly reduce the labor intensity of the staff, but also improve the workingenvironment, effectively improve the surface quality of the slender bar.
