Since the twentieth century, the global ecological environment has been damaged severely, being confronted with serious ecological dilemma, such as environmental pollution, shortage of resources and ecological imbalance. Human ecological dilemma in essence is that the harmonious relationship between human beings and nature has been broken down. The substance transformation between human beings and nature appears "crack". How to protect the natural environment of mankind, bridging the "crack" of the substance transformation between human beings and nature, stepping out of the ecological dilemma, has become a major concern in the twenty-first century. The thought of the substance transformation between human beings and nature which is put forth by Marx in his "capital" has a profound enlightenment and significance for the interpretation of this global problem.Marx’s substance transformation theory reveals the substance transformation in nature, human beings and nature and human society. Only by understanding and coordinating the relationship between mankind and nature rationally and scientifically, and by ensuring that the substance transformation between human beings and nature works efficiently, can human beings construct the ecological civilization and realize the sustainable development.
