Saw cutting is an important process, which is useful to saving materials, reducing secondary processing and improving the efficiency. But during the saw cutting process, excessive vibration and noise are produced.Based on FEM and experiments, this article did some analysis of the dynamic performance of GKT608circular sawing machine tool, and made some improvements for the weak point. The main research works and conclusions are as follows:1.Viberation test was carried on for the GKT608circular sawing machine and spectrums were acquired through the analysis. From the spectrums, viberation states of various condions can be evaluated which is helpful to the setting of process parameters.2.The first six natural frequencies and the mode shapes of the circular sawing machine are analyzed based on Solidworks and ANSYS.From the aspect of mode shapes, the first six modes focus on the columns of the machine, which makes sure the columns are weak points of the whole machine theoretically.3.Based on the method of the joint face modeling and parameters confirming,spring-damping elements are used to simulate the joint faces between each part, kinetic parameters are calculated as well.4.By using LMS system, mode test was carried on for the whole machine,so that the result from FEM can be verified. The results show that:the calculated2ed,3th,4th,5th and6th modes are corresponded to the1st,3th,4th,5th and6th tested modes. The calculated2ed and3th natural frequencies are identical with test values, while the4th,5th and6th natural frequencies differs about20%.5.Improve design was done to the guide bar joints of the column and parameter optimization was carried out to find the best values of the size of the upsets by using Isight.as a result, the first six natural frequencies were enhanced. The first two natural frequencies which we care about enhanced by15%approximately.
