In order to meet the need of safe-water irrigation in our western, extend the life ofequipment, and cut down the cost of irrigation, a metal base composite material ismade of aluminum manganese alloy and Al2O3particles which is chose fromdifferent materials by different stirring casting method in different processes.The wear performance of aluminum manganese based composites enhanced by Al2O3particle is researched in dry friction and Simulation of Xinjiang natural environment.Whatever within abrasive medium or not, t in close cases, wear resistance ofcomposite materials is obviously superior to the aluminum manganese alloy withsame manganese content. And we can conclude the effectiveness on the manganesecontent, and other factors on the material on critical load according to the differentloads and wear analysis. Through the final wear morphology analysis: load, materialproperties, and other factors on material wear mechanism changes. The finalconclusion: with or without abrasive medium, wear resistance of composite materialsare better than the corresponding manganese content in manganese alloy aluminum;critical load will increase with the increase of Mn content; the wear mechanism ofcomposite materials in abrasive medium are different with increasing loads.
