Pumping well oil production is the lift method widely used in the world. The oilproduction system of pumping well not only includes the pumping unit, sucker rod, oil pumphardwares equitments,but also involves swabbing parameters, submergence "software"parameters. It is a problem needed to be solve urgently in oil field how to reasonably selectthe well and pumping, so that the pumping well and the pump are matched, the productionsystem efficiency of pumping well is improved, the production capability of oil is raised. It issignificant to study the optimization design of the well and pump selection of pumping well.In order to improve the pumping well system efficiency, a mathematical model ofoptimization design of the well and pump selection of pumping well was established, basedon the coordination of ability of production and pumping system of the pumping well, takingthe swabbing parameters (stroke, frequency of stroke, pump diameter) of the pumping well asthe design parameters; and the optimization design of the well and pump selection of pumpingwell using the mathematical model mentioned above was given. In this paper, an optimizationdesign of the well and pump selection of pumping well taking the Daqing Oilfield3pumpingwells as examples,such as B1-4-124,was conducted. Design results show that this methodcan significantly improved system efficiency of3pumping wells.
