In this paper, plugging performance about the system of deep profile control and oil displacement by linked polymer micro-ball is studied. The screening of polymer micro-ball and simulated experiment of core displacement are researched. The experiment results show that when oil displacement with micro-ball ESs82, core permeability is in the range of150×10-3μm2~3500×10-3μm2, micro-ball flooding corresponding to recovery is comparatively stable. And the requirement of enhancing recovery by chemical flooding is meet. In addition, according to the multi-distribution character of reservoir pore throat, when micro-balls are chosen as main flooding slug, delayed volume expansion grains are used as flooding agent in extra-large pores. Pilot test in block Shen-67had been completed in2009, its scale of implementation had been enlarged in2010-2011, and field application proved that polymer micro-ball sealed off macro-porous flowage channels in depth effectively when they were injected into the formation, and the micro-direction of flooding liquid changed, swept volume enlarged effectively especially in deep reservoir, the aim of stabilizing oil production by water control was achieved, natural production decline rate reduced.
