This article in view of the domestic and foreign high temperature materialtransport industry of the actual working conditions, to develop highperformance (i.e.,excellent aging resistance, high temperature mechanicalproperties,wear resistance and adhesion properties),long life,low cost hightemperature resistant conveyor belt for the target,relating to the hightemperature aging resistant conveyor belt rubber material preparation. Thework is as follows:(1) The preparation of high-temperature and aging resistant rubbermaterial: Using metallocene polyolefin elastomers (such as ethylene octenecopolymer elastomer, ethylene butene copolymer elastomer) and EPM orEPDM blends as the matrix, can significantly improve the EPDM agingproperties, aging properties maintaining rate of about15%; using the responseof antioxidant MC prevents the migration at high-temperature, and caneffectively improve the rubber aging properties, aging properties remain toenhance the rate of about10%; the high-filling high-molecular weightplasticizer which is difficult to extract at high-temperature, compared to the conventional paraffin oil, naphthenic oil plasticizers, improving agingperformance, and solves the high hardness problem because of themetallocene polyolefin elastomer; adopting a large of carbon black to improvethe mechanical properties at high-temperature, the tensile strength wasincreased from3.5MPa to6MPa, tear strength from15kN/m to21kN/m,improving destruction resistance of rubber composite material for use in hightemperature environment, thereby improving the service life of rubbercomposites.(2) The preparation of high adhesive properties of EPDM rubbercomposite material: Using of high ENB content and the big-polar EPDM assubstrate, citing HRH and ZDMA composite adhesive system, to improve theaging adhesive properties of rubber composites, whose retention rate reachesmore than80%;by adjusting the curing system, extending the scorch time, canimprove the adhesion properties of rubber composites;the plasticer which isdifficult to extract at high temperature and good at viscosity,insteading of thetraditional paraffin oil, naphthenic oil plasticizers, can not only improve therubber composite adhesive strength, but also improve the aging performanceof retention rate (up to85%).(3) The preparation of high adhesive properties of EPDM/other rubbercomposite material: By using of EPDM and NR composites,can improve theadhesive properties at room temperature, but poor at adhesive properties afteraging;by using of EPDM and BIIR,EVM composites,the good adhesive properties of rubber composites were not prepared.(4)The degradation analysis of skeleton material: Prior to the experiment,skeleton materials after the aging experiment appear the phenomenon oftransection or degradation. By the high temperature aging experiment ofcanvas, basic system and vulcanization system analysis, when using S/NS/ZDC curing system, active radicals is produced in high-temperature agingprocess,lead to the degradation of skeleton material at high temperature.The research of rubber composite material are used in high-temperatureresistant conveyor belt, the performance are fully meeting all performanceindicators in the GBT200021-2005, and the product achieved industrialization,which is good performance using by customers.
