The total cost of open pit mining has intimate connection with the blasting parameters. In the same production environment and rock properties, different blasting parameters produce different blasting effects, and the cost in all production processes of open pit mining are different. This paper attempts to establish mathematical model which contains from blasting process to crushing process of open pit mining, and on this basis, finds the relationships between the blasting parameters and the cost of some mining production processes. By studying a variety of economic mathematical models which was proposed by scholars at home and abroad and considering the actual situation of the mine in our country and the main purpose of the research, this paper proposes the economic mathematical model which contains from blasting process to crushing process of open pit mining.Prediction model of blasting fragmentation include stress wave model, energy model and distribution function model. Because of the complexity and uncertainty of blasting objects and blasting processes, the stress wave model and energy model is not practical, so the prediction model of blasting fragmentation in this paper is selected from distribution function model. Through analyzing and comparing the merits and demerits of several distributions function model, this paper establishes the relationship between blasting parameters and distribution of rock fragmentation by using KUZ-RAM model. By combining Numerical Analysis and using Matlab software to analysis project date, this paper establishes the mathematical model of the cost which reflects the relationship between rock fragmentation and loading cost, transportation cost and crushing cost. The last, by using the blasting parameters as arguments, using average block and boulder frequency as constraints and using attaining the minimum whole cost of the fine production processes as goal, this paper establish the economic mathematical model which contains from blasting process to crushing process of open pit mining. Considering the optimization of economic mathematical model of open pit mining is a nonlinear programming problem, this paper does optimization calculations by using Genetic Algorithms in Matlab software.Finally, this paper analyzes and calculates the date which was collected in project, and then gets the optimization blasting parameters. By using these parameters to do field test, when the unit explosive consumption is0.327kg/t, the whole cost is dropped to8.12yuan/t from8.50yuan/t and the cost of every ton reduce0.38yuan.
