The reaction of calcium hydroxide and phosphoric acid is of great importance to sugar produced with sulfitation. The reaction mechanism is complex and the rate of progress is slow; the reaction does not always go thoroughly because of many objective reasons existing in actual production. So there are some realistic significance to improve the reaction rate and the refining effects of phosphates.Ultrasonic is widely used in intensifying chemical engineering process and increasing reaction rate as of its mechanical effect and chemical effect. Based on the study about the reaction mechanism of calcium hydroxide and phosphoric acid, the ultrasonic field is introduced to promote the reaction proceeding in water and sucrose solution. Based on the above results and analysis we have got and some related theory, the ultrasonic field is introduced in air floating clarification technology in c-sugar remelting and the effects of ultrasonic on the clarification result are studied. The research contents and conclusions of this paper are as follows. By the method of pH-t curve determining of reaction systems and the SEM-EDS、XRD、grain size analysis detecting to phosphates, the experiment improves that the ultrasonic felid has great importance on the reaction of calcium hydroxide and phosphoric acid. Under the conditions of ultrasonic field, the break point of the curve appears in advance by5minutes in water and10minutes in sugar solution respectively, the content of phosphates with cystalling phase increases. In the meantime, the reasons of different experimental results occurred in the same reaction system but with different conditions of ultrasonic (introduced or unintroduced) and with the same condition of ultrasonic but in different reaction systems(water or sugar solution) are discussed particularly. In the process of air floating clarification technology in c-sugar remelting introduced with ultrasonic field, the response surface methods are carried out to optimize the ultrasonic parameters taking the dross layering-time and the volume ratio of dross and clear liquid as index. Also we study the effects of ultrasonic on other clarification index such as average purity, colour value, turbidity. Considering the comprehensive effects, the most adaptative ultrasonic parameters are chosen:ultrasonic power is300w and time is2min.
