Methacrylate is an important organic synthetic intermediate and an important monomerfor making high-quality polymers, there is also extensive use in medicine and latherprocessing. At present, the industrial preparation methods of methacrylate is the two-stepoxidation of propylene. In recent years, along with rising oil prices,making the productioncosts for methacrylate prepared from propylene rise.So looking for the technology roadmapwhat is both environmental pollution,and improve economic efficiency is imminent.Using the fixed-bed reactor,and the reaction of formaldehyde and methyl acetate as aprobe to investigate the effect for the process conditions to the catalytic performance, andstudy the intrintic kinetics and macro-kinetics of the systemand.Using the X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), spectroscopy(EDS), TGA, physical adsorption,and chemical adsorption,to investigate the catalyst for thecrystalline structure, surface morphology, pore volume, pore size, specific surface areaand thestrength of the acid-base center.The reaction process is optimized by orthogonal test, theoptimum conditions were verified,the optimum conditions were that the reaction temperaturewas420℃、the N2flow rate was5ml/min、the space velocity was8h-1、the molar ratio ofCH3O/CH3COOH was0.333、the mass of catalyst was0.300g.The exponential equation was fitted with the experimental data to get the kineticparameters on Kinetic Study as follows: k0=7.9509×1012mol1-n.Ln-1.Mpa-α.gcat-1、n=1.11035、Ea=35.723kJ/mol、α=-0.60828、β=0.32725、θ=0.07608、γ=-3.82636. the equationwas fitted with the model for the quasi-homogeneous one-dimensional plug flow reactor andcontinuous stirred tank reactor,and the significant of the two reactor model were verified,The statistical tests intended homogeneous one-dimensional plug flow for the reaction ishighly adaptable.On the intrinsic kinetics study,the reaction course was discussed. reaction speed controlstep was assumptions, in the range of intrinsic reaction kinetics. the reaction hyperbola wasestablished. Reaction hyperbolic equation was fitted the experimental data of the intrinsickinetics,getting the reaction hyperbolic kinetics model,and determining the steps of thereaction speed control,the hyperbolic dynamics model is significantly by the statistical test.
