N-pentane Isomerization Solid Superacid Catalysts

The preparation conditions of catalysts and the reaction performances for n-pentane isomerization have been studied over a series of Pt-SO427ZrO2(PSZ) , Pt-SO42VZrO2-A1203 (PSZA) and Pt-SO2VZrO2-SiOz-A1i03(PSZSA) catalysts. With the help of JR, XRD. DTA and other analyses on the catalysts, some physical and chemical properties have been researched. It has been found that owing to the introduction of A1203 or Si02-A1203 into the catalyst of Pt-SO427ZrO2, PSZA and PSZSA type catalysts have better physical and chemical properties and higher reaction activity and stability for n-pentane isomerization.
