The textile machinery is the means of production and material basis in textileindustry. Its technical level, quality and manufacturing costs directly related to thedevelopment of the textile industry. Its industrial upgrading is becoming veryimportant when the textile industry as an important industry in our country. Thedesign of textile machinery and manufacturing technology are main content inupgrading industry. Therefore, the technological innovation to the textile machine hasa strong practical significance in the applications of textile machine design.This topic introduces the electromagnetic technology to the looms based on thestudy of weft insertion in traditional looms. A new loom was designed whose shuttlewas moved by the electromagnetic force from the electromagnetic coils. In weftinsertion, the shuttle was moved fast in the shed by electromagnetic force. Thefrequency of power turn-off and power turn-on was changed to control the speed ofthe shuttle. In order to achieve the movement of weft insertion, the direction of powerturn-off and power turn-on was changed to control the direction of the shuttle. Thisnew weft insertion can save the condition from the existing device to save theproblem of wide fabric. The working that single shuttle and double weft insertion wasdesigned. The acceleration and deceleration of shuttle was designed and theaccumulator was developed in the shuttle braking to improving braking efficiency.The traditional take-up mechanism was removed. The new take-up mechanismwas drive by the servo motors to reduce the volume and improve the transmissionefficiency. The servo drives and PLC control system were connected. The traditionallet-off mechanism was improved. The new let-off mechanism was drive by the servomotors. The warp tension was collected by tension sensor. After PID operation, theservo system was used to achieve precise control. The constant tension warp wasdesigned.This topic is to abandon the traditional weft insertion. The means of shuttlemoved by electromagnetic force from electromagnetic coils was created to save theproblem of wide fabric. The persistence of power-driven in shuttle moved wasachieved in wide fabric to avoid the condition of crossed the wide fabric by the inertia.The same time, The programmable logic controller(PLC), transducer, coder and servodrives were used in this project. The automated operation of electromagnetic wefttextile machines was introduced to solve the question which is the traditional textile machines low efficiency, poor quality fabric. The new vitality was injected into thedevelopment of the looms by the new weft insertion was designed.
