| Recently, Petroleum resources are increasingly drying up, and the price is growinghigher and higher. Regenerating and recycling of waste engine oil is important to ourcountry not only in resources saving, but also it will bring huge economic, social andecological benefits. The research about the recycling of the waste engine oil has becomean important field. After analysised the refining technology of the waste engine oildeeply in the home and abroad, this paper discussed the waste engine oil’s mechanismof degradation from the perspective of physic-chemical and tribology properties;Through the reaserch of the clay-adsorption refinng technique, extraction-flocculationpre-refining technique and solvent refining technique, this paper proposed a wasteengine oil’s refining process: solvent extraction-flocculation composite technology. The solvent extraction-flocculation refining process of waste engine oil used analkyl quaternary ammonium salt cationic flocculant worked together with the solventextraction, which maked the process more completely and had the advantage of non-acidslag, solvent recycled. By the single-factor and orthogonal experiment of this process, the paper obtained the optimal operating parameters of S:O-1.75, water added-5%,concentration of the flocculant-2.5mg/ml, reaction temperature-65℃, reactiontime-20min. The research found that the flocculant dosage had the most importantinfluence on the refined effect, and the S:O had the minimal impact, and the others werein the middle.Compared with the clay-adsorption containing traditional refining process, thesolvent extraction-flocculation refined oil had better physical-chemical properties. Inthe respects of colour, transmition, TAN, viscosity, viscosity index, particalcontamination, this refined oil is better than the clay-adsorption containing refined oils. From the perspective of the element content analysis and the tribological test, thesolvent extraction-flocculation refined oil reserved the non-deactivated additives, whichwas beneficial to maximize the potential of the waste oil. This solvent extraction-flocculation waste engine oil refined process eliminatedmore completely the suspending contaminant and oxidizing substances dissolved in theoil and also reserved non-deactivated additives. On the one hand, there was not acid slagand secondary clay-pollution in this process. On the another hand, the recyclable solvent, high recovery refined oil, low cost, simple operation were very important aspects. Thisprocess was worthy of extending and conformed to the state’s actual conditions. Theresearch results in this paper were only limited to laboratory work, and were furtherverified through the industrialized experiment. |
