The burner is the main thermal equipment in rotary kilns. The head burners which are composed of commonly heat resistant steel materials stay in the rotary kiln for a long time. It can withstand high temperature oxidation erosion. Under high temperature for a long time, heat resistant steel also can appear damaged. In order to improve the burners head of high temperature heat resistant steel antioxidant protection. According to molten shielding type high temperature resisting, a suitable preparation of superfine glass powder materials has been chosen as the powder coating substrate. The method of slurry was coated on the alloy surface to protect alloy materials in high temperature. In this paper research work carried out includes the following aspects:1. According to the CMAS、CAS and RBAS glass, It takes to the inhibition of the glass crystal chromatography, the high temperature stability, and the basic composition of glass lower melting point. Department of the basis of the glass RBAS at900℃, has a low viscosity and high temperature wettability. When it cools off in the furnace, it has good sealing effect.2. According to the different binder, the superfine glass powder materials are compounded into slurry. The binder options include sodium carboxy methyl cellulose, sodium silicate, silicon sol and aluminum dihydrogen phosphate. Comparing the three different binding effect, the inorganic aluminum dihydrogen phosphate binder and sodium carboxy methyl cellulose for suspension thickener is the painted composition. Through the experiment, we find superfine glass powder materials, aluminum dihydrogen phosphate, and3%(wt%) of the sodium carboxy methyl cellulose aqueous solution for6:1:3ratio, the low temperature of the film and high temperature protection effect is the best.3. Investigation of the combination of the metal coating and conditions, when the surface is rough metal, the coating of high temperature wetting effect is better, low temperatures can form good coating film, metal surface is smooth, coating in the metal surface temperature can also be wet, but in low temperatures, some parts of the coating fall off. Experimental results show that the metal coating and combining with the main physical penetration bite is given priority, and the components of the coating does not affect the structure of the alloy performance.The influence of the coating failure factors include coefficient of expansion, metal surface roughness, coating powder particles size and coating thickness of coating.4. According to the good resistance to heat shock resistance coating and external shocks, the properties of coating has some good resistance to heat shock ability, but bear thermal shock temperature range is small. The external shocks show that the coating can withstand the impact of certain external force. When outside force increases to certain degree, the coating will crack and fall off phenomenon.
