Intelligent temperature-adjusting viscose fiber is a kind of viscose fiber containing microencapsulated phase change materials. The microencapsulated phase change material is added to a viscose spinning solution, and then extrusion from the spinneret. Intelligent temperature-adjusting viscose fiber not only has the advantages of ordinary viscose fiber, but also has the unique characteristics that can automatically adjust the temperature with the ambient temperature changes. Therefore, it has very important significance to research the structure and properties intelligent temperature-adjusting viscose fiber. It can lay the foundation for the development of products.First of all, we analyze the inner structure of the intelligent temperature-adjusting viscose fiber using modern testing methods, such as X-ray diffraction and infrared spectrum. And the surface properties are analyzed using scanning electron microscopy. From the study, we find that compared with ordinary viscose fiber, the crystallinity of intelligent temperature-adjusting viscose fiber reduces, and the chemical composition has no change basically. In addition, by observing its shape we can find capsule distribution within the fiber, through this we can explain the temperature regulating mechanism of intelligent temperature-adjusting viscose fiber.Secondly, on the basis of discussing the structure of the intelligent temperature-adjusting viscose fiber, we research and analyze its basic physical performance, such as mechanical properties, moisture absorption properties, electrical properties. Compared with the performance of ordinary viscose fiber, we can analyze the effect of microcapsules on viscose fiber. And choose the appropriate mathematical model to fit the mechanical properties and moisture absorption.Finally, we study the thermal properties of intelligent temperature-adjusting viscose fiber using the thermogravimetric analysis (TG) and other test methods. Through the analysis, we know that the thermal resistance and thermal stability of intelligent temperature-adjusting viscose fiber are decreased.
